In connection with the previous article, here's a small examples of how I eat healthily with less money.
Do you like bananas? I like them a lot. My preferences are overripe bananas with dark bark. The part that is eaten, often is in absolutely normal, healthy state. I don't buy them very often because they deteriorate relatively quickly - within a week, but they are half the price of green bananas.
For apples I walk a little way to take them from not so nearby market. My preferences are smaller apples, still having a good appearance. The price of a middling chocolate can take 3-4 kg of these apples and they withstand 3-4 weeks without spoiling.
